It's a tough walk but doable. Just more enjoyable with a cart. The price keeps the locales from going to Humber and I think they have a strong membership. But the course isn't well layer out and can be very unforgiving due to the crazy slopes left and right. Too many blind shots as well.
Situated in the centre of the city and perched above Corner Brook Stream valley, there is really no way to adequately describe the view of the Bay of Islands from the first tee box other than "stunning".
The course itself is quite good. I was told it underwent a renovation a few years back. The greens were quick, but true....
This is an open course although be aware there are stray balls on the fairways as the holes in some areas appear to intersect. No signage so there is some confusion as to the direction of the next hole when they cross the road. The balcony on the club is nice and open and is relaxing after a round
