We were here in July 2016. We spent the late morning/early afternoon just walking around the park. We found it very nice and peaceful. They had a splash pad/area for kids which was nice (even though we had no kids with us). If were are ever in Moncton again, we would definitely return for a relaxing afternoon.
Centennial park is a great place to go if you have young children. If your kids are a little older, there are still lots of things to do like zip lining and hiking through trails. Even in winter, it is a great place to get some fresh air.
It is a park with many amusements for the kids during the summer. They also have a small snack bar in the summer. The also have a sand pool. This is a great spot for families. In the winter you can still go walk you dog or just walk around the small lake. The lake is home to many ducks.... 更多
Great walking trails, duck pond, huge park, canteen in summer, pool and man made beach, tree go, and you can cool off in the huge splash park free of charge with changing rooms and plenty of picnic spots....lots of parking!
Loads of walking trails, a splash pad for kids in the summer, a great playground, picnic tables, sliding hills - all free - make this a great year-round park. There are also two dog parks, one for large and one for small, which are a great place to let the animals go off-leash.
Love the park for the excellent trails deeper in - perfect for walking, running, cycling (some nice hills, too, so it's a good workout) and cross country skiing in winter. Many of the trails are along Jonathan Creek and the new bridges are quite nice. Peaceful and especially beautiful in fall. Easy to spend a couple of hours along these... 更多
Good place to bring the kings for some water fun in the summer or just hang out in the play grounds. It's also got a trail for bikes or walking. There is also ground to walk around a pond.
