Went to the Northern Studies Centre with friends. There was very little to see there, a decent outlook if you don't mind walking out on a grated floor that allows you to see the earth quite a distance below.
Not very informative on our own- we basically went there and walked around the rooms without seeing much details as to what actually is accomplished there!
I have just returned from my third trip to Churchill, and I have visited CNSC all three times. The building is amazing and the staff/tour guides/bear guards are all very helpful, friendly and knowledgable. I would definitely go again.
This site offers resources and living facilities for researchers. Information on the area is available but displays are limited. No tour was offered by the facility but a gift shop was open. Nearby one finds the abandoned rocket sites that add interest to the site.
The first thing that strikes me about the CNSC is that everyone is so NICE. They will go out of their way to make your visit truly memorable. Scientists and presenters are knowledgeable and approachable. Beds are comfortable and food is tasty and plentiful. The aurora dome and wildlife viewing platform are wonderful too.

They are uniformly friendly and delighted to tell you about their research, and ask what birds and mammals you've seen. Also if you go... 更多
