If you want to see polar bears in summer THIS IS THE PLACE!!! In just two hours we saw three of them!! One from quite far away, another from reasonably close and another from VERY up close and personal!! Less than 50 yards from us, more like 100 feet or less. The situation with that one was quite interesting. When... 更多
Nice area to come to and have your photo taken near the "bear sign" or stone inuck, shipwreck. When we went the snow blizzard came down, which was nice to see. Didnt see any bears here. But they just appear around Churchill at any time.
We took this road on a day trip around town with our guide Paul. He spotted bear here and we got some beautiful pictures of bear shaking water along with picturesque background.
We rented a truck and drove up and down this road. Lots of stops (vistas, plane wreck, ship wreck). This seems to be a good place to see bears - saw one near the ship wreck and 3 near the town. There is also a really nice beach that can be visited along this road. As others have mentioned, it's... 更多

The entry fee of the private road is $75 per person (only charge when the polar bear is there) and taxi fee is $60 per hour. This is the better... 更多
Yes, it's pretty, no, you do not walk there because of the bears, but if you want to do it in a car, fine. Polar bears are very, very good at hiding in the willows or the rocks, and you are prey.
Yes, there's a beach in Churchill, although swimming is not recommended. But it's the only place where you're going to get close to salt water without going to B.C. or Nova Scotia! Be sure to get your picture taken by massive inukshuck and the Enterprise boat, a landlocked ship by the shoreline.
