Except for the parking costs this is a great venue for music. We try and book a concert several times a year. The seating is good. The sound and acoustics are quite great. We love the venue.

The theatre has not a poor seat in the house. I have enjoyed concerts from every vantage point - even on the stage. The challenge is getting there from many points in Vancouver. The best is to drive and pay for parking in the garage. I like to arrive early as the rose garden is close by and even in... 更多

In December 2015 we attended Festive Cantatas – Praetorius Christmas Vespers by Early Music Vancouver at the Chan Centre. As always, the sound in that space was wonderful. It's also visually stunning. We had excellent sight lines from our balcony seats. There is a pay parking lot nearby (and you can pay by phone to avoid lineups at the machines).... 更多

If you have an opportunity to attend a concert at the Chan Centre at UBC don't miss it! I love everything about this venue - great acoustics, original architecture, cozy and comfortable seats. I recommend getting there early and also visiting the Rose Garden next door and the UBC Anthropology Museum. If you don't mind walking a couple of blocks... 更多

Was able to get side balcony seats close to stage for less than I had imagined. Saw an opera, was also impressed with the acoustics. Easy parking in parkade, too. Huge variety of productions/concerts.

This was my first time here, but my husband had been here a few times before. The theater is beautifully designed inside with loads of seating at just the right angle that even if you were back several rows, you still feel like you are close enough. I wouldn't recommend the "cheap seats" though, which are the dress level and... 更多

We have been to the Chan Centre numerous times over the years for all types of concerts. Everything about it is wonderful, from the architecture to the acoustics. There isn't a bad seat in the house. It is a bit unusual with the parterre seats (the non-orchestra sections) in a horseshoe shape, but that ensures a good view for everyone.... 更多

While we thoroughly enjoyed Zakhir Hussein's Celtic Connections at the Chan Centre, the seating was horrible. It was like being in a straight-jacket. No where else does buying low end tickets mean such discomfort. Won't be going there again.

在University Land Endowments的住宿

周围地区详细资料
University Land Endowments
An area as rich in history as it is in natural beauty, the expansive parkland of the University Land Endowments is protected by the city in cooperation with the University of British Columbia. A large green space studded by rose gardens, Japanese rock gardens, botanic gardens, canopy walks, regional parkland, and hiking trails, the University Land Endowments are a breath of fresh air. Combining a commitment to preserving nature with a similar promise to preserve culture, its valleys are also home to the First Nations heritage museum, the biodiversity museum, and anthropological and memorial exhibitions. From its highest canopies to the sandy shorelines of Wreck Beach, its serenity is preserved by the University buildings that dot it, combining Mother Nature and scholarship.
