What a great way to see the Inside Passage. I took the restful ferry ride in late June. The weather was perfect for a day on the water. The scenery, ship condition, staff and restful day were all fantastic. I will definitely do this again. I had a cabin so there was the chance to get a little sleep as... 更多
Recently returned from a return trip to Vancouver Island via the ferry from Prince Rupert. Our trip was good, in typical West coast weather, sun, cloud fog & rain and was capped by a spectacular sunset an hour out of Port Hardy. The ship is comfortable but if we were take the trip again I would spring for seats in... 更多
Had taken suite 701 with a front and side port holes so we had an excellent view of the passage. A bit pricey but the view was well worth the trip. Comfy queen sized bed, clean bathroom/shower. Didn't care very much for the overpriced cafeteria food but we knew that ahead of time having taken the Tsawassen / Swartz Bay... 更多
I had been looking forward to this trip for several years. I knew that the coast would be beautiful, and I figured that since BC Ferries promotes this trip as a great (and very expensive) tourist experience, that they would really go overboard to make it memorable. Unfortunately I was sadly mistaken. The only good thing was our sleeping cabin,... 更多
We spent the great part of the day hiking this beautiful, scenic historic trail! Met lots of friendly local people. Seen some eagles and had lunch along the ocean. I recommend this trail to all!
Caught the ferry from Prince Rupert to Prince Hardy, via the First Nations towns of Klemtu & Bella Bella. The scenery along the Inside Passage is outstanding and having a cabin was great. It was warm & clean, and I was surprised by the size of the ensuite head with a proper shower. The beds were thin and hard though... 更多
This trip was well worthwhile despite the fact that we were unlucky with the weather which was very wet. The route was such that it was never dull with some good views of whales and even one black bear. Due to the early start and late finish it is highly recommended to book a cabin.
The views in the inside passage were well worth the 16 hour trip. We booked the forst class room ($35) and paid for the meals (Breakfast and Dinner). Their food was a buffet and well done.
What a beautiful day. Perfect weather and the most spectacular scenery. You MUST make a reservation, and we highly recommend booking a berth--we were up at 4:30 a.m. to get to the check-in on time, and were very grateful for a comfy bed and a shower afterwards. If you're travelling with a teen, the berth will also be useful when they... 更多
We travelled from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert on their day excursion with the stop at Bella Bella. Extremely comfortable and we felt that the extra paid for the Aurora Lounge well worth the cost for the added comfort, although the lounge was nowhere near capacity. Great scenery of course, and really good meals served in the onboard restaurant.
