Apex is my favourite mountain in BC! I skied abut 15 days there this year and each day is challenging yet rewarding. There is terrain types for all skiers, both front and back country. The staff are nice, the lines are few and far between, and the powder is exquisite! Definitely make this a stop on your ski trail!
Despite this being an epic snow year, Apex resort is special all on its own. It is not overly crowded and not many times waiting in a lift line. All the people from the rental shop to ski instructors to ticket booth to lifties to maintenance workers were very friendly and took pride in their jobs - this is a... 更多
Experienced rude and arrogant owner in my face when I "dared" to ask/question the settings on my son's skis. Apex is a great resort, nice food, good bar... but holy smokes what a jerk the Austrian/German/whatever owner was.
Apex is an excellent, challenging resort with some fun technical chutes, trees, and steep narrow mogul runs. If you come to Apex, you are coming to a quiet, beautiful resort that has some excellent challenges. For the Europeans coming, the on hill amenities are nothing like home for you. Come for the steep skiing and virtually ZERO lift lines. If... 更多
Apex is a mountain that is never busy. It is a great mountain for adding up a ton of vertical in one day. Everywhere off piste is great steep glades that never get touched. It is not a big stellar resort like some resort in British Columbia but it gets beautifully dry snow and the powder lasts for days.
It's many years since I've been here and it is still pretty nice riding. The gun runs and the glades in the back bowl are some of my favourites. One high speed quad and one slow triple services the entire mountain. It's just enough to get a great day of riding in. Parking is really close to the base of... 更多
If you're looking for great terrain and challenging run with a family friendly atmosphere a virtually no line ups check out Apex. The interior snow is amazing to ski and the resort has been doing a good job of grooming and snow making. It is also becoming a world class location for ski competition and training. Compared to Whistler you'll... 更多
We came here with a family group of 13 people over 2015 Christmas holidays. It's a small mountain that will satisfy most families including advanced riders. I grew up in the 80's skiing in the Vancouver lower mainland (Cypress, Grouse, Blackcomb/Whistler, Manning, etc.). Since then, I've snowboarded in a few continents. By far, my a favourite is Niseko, Hokkaido, in... 更多
