We had a great time there last weekend . You can rent canoes, kayaks and sail boats there . We didn't spend to much time in the actual park , we went to canoe. The boat launch was very accessible and the people were friendly . The rescue came and told us to stay close to the shore line as... 更多
South Glenmore Park has a large diversity of landscapes. The west end is very woodsy and borders on the fabulous Weaselhead Natural Area. The middle section has lots of benches, a picnic area, a children's playground, the sailing marina, and great pathways. For most of South Glenmore Park, there is a developed upper pathway as well as one closer to... 更多

There is a great playground area for kids, it's worth even a 20 or 25 minute drive to get there. It features a lovely dock area, boat launch, rentals are available. It's free, it's fun, it's something different if you just want to get the kids somewhere for an hour.
If you are looking for something to do without spending a lot of money then pack a picnic and enjoy a day strolling around Glenmore Reservoir. There is a great pathway system with good parks along the way and lots of boats in the water to look at. Bring a frisbee.
