For some reason, this huge head set against the Bow Tower made me smile! It was just plain fun, and we loved it. After the Tower, it was my favorite thing in Calgary!

One of the better examples of public sculpture I have seen - Calgary seems to have quite a few good sculptures, and this is a key one. Unfortunately didn't get to see it at night but I imagine it would look pretty beautiful lit up.
A great place for a picture. The art installation is in front of the Bow (once the tallest building in YYC). The 'big giant head' is a great reference point for meeting family and friends and a good starting point for a downtown jaunt.
Calgary has a lot of great sculptures dotted around the city and this is another one. It is on the street level outside the Telus tower. It is great to see but most tourists will take a photo if passing and locals ignore it, but I could not see anyone taking any rreal time there.
Walking around downtown Calgary the street art adds interest and appeal to what would otherwise be another collection of glass and concrete. We came across the Wonderland Sculpture by accident and were intrigued by it.
Wonderful. A real treat to come across this when wandering around the city. Managed to get day and night time shots for the album. Worth adding to your itinerary
