These are very impressive and shimmer in the light. They look different at various times of the day. Bigger than you would think they are!
Twice now there tree statues made me realize we were walking the wrong direction. These are at the start of the walking part of Stephen Ave. The opposite end is Olympic park. You can't really look at them and realize they are trees unless someone explains this.

These were a must see for me and I'm very glad we made the effort. Close to the tram and Stephen Avenue is a great stop anyway. I went a little nuts here photographing, I have to admit.
This piece of artwork is on 8th avenue outside of Bankers Hall. It does not provide much shade on sunny days or block the rain. There are several other displays along the avenue Enjoy the walk.
Located on a busy pedestrian mall in downtown Calgary; this is a great are to visit especially during the Calgary Stampede. The sculptures themselves don't do much for me but I love to walk Stephen ave mall during the lunch hour and take in all the sights, sounds and characters that make up our beautiful city.

This huge set of trees sculptures feel like a twist of life. They are in the commercial area to the Southwest side of the heart of town and is within walking distance from the China town or the Bay department store. Nothing much could be said, but it is nice to take a picture.
