This long weekend I had the chance to walk the winding paths along the Elbow river. Rafts floated down the lazy river while ducks would tag along and joggers ran past with their obedient dogs keeping pace. A quick 40 minute drive on highway 66 from the southwest quadrant of Calgary takes you into Bragg Creek, a small town with timber framed buildings and homes. This is a great river to raft on when the temperature is very hot outside. It's not a very deep river and one can actually stand in some area's and other area's are a little deeper.
