Kensington is one of Calgary's premier districts to check out when you visit the city. From Calatrava's red pedestrian Peace Bridge crossing the Bow River at 9th St. W to the old Plaza Theatre and Pages Bookstore on Kensington, the area is a great place to walk through. This older, trendy neighborhood is a real gem...a variety of great shops and restaurants, coffee shops and specialty shops - a great destination for strolling. We love the breakfasts at The Daily and Vendome, checking out what's new at In Gear, sampling wine at Vine Styles. There's plenty of consignment shops to browse through and there's always something to catch... 更多

Interesting area, lots of quirky shops and places to eat and drink. Having come from Europe it was a little disappointing as to the amount of attractions, but still a great place to pop by and check out.
