Kensington refers to the Southeastern corner of Hillhurst, a neighbourhood directly northeast of downtown. It is a walking lifestyle community, with plenty of residential and commercial real estate. The area referred to as Kensington comprises many coffee shops, pubs, restaurants, a wine bar, a wine market, an art house movie theatre, all between 10th and 13th street along Kensington Road... 更多
Boutiques and restaurants, many boutiques and restaurants. Plus of course, the Plaza Theatre, Calgary's Grande Dame of the repertory cinema houses. There are many important shops for the local residents: a Safeway, natural food store, a gas station, a hardware store, and a bike store. But restaurants and coffee / tea places are the most numerous, and the could be... 更多
This is a fantastic welcoming Church. It is LGBTQ2I affirming & everyone is so friendly. I went to check it out 3 years ago & I keep going back. Interesting area, lots of quirky shops and places to eat and drink. Having come from Europe it was a little disappointing as to the amount of attractions, but still a great place to pop by and check out.
oh brother... i can only take so much of the try hard hipster scene. plus parking on top? forget it! that said, Ridley Cycle is great. Very good staff.
Great little shopping area with trendy shops and cute cafes and restaurants. Beautiful houses around and a lovely neighbourhood.

We visit Calgary at least twice a year and a few stops in Kensington is always on our agenda. A turmeric elixir at Wild & Raw and shopping at New Age are two of my favorites! It's also a very easy walk from downtown via the Peace Bridge.
Cute little area of town with lots of places to eat. Nice to stroll around on a sunny day or sit on a patio and chill but not a ton of places to shop.
