Lamorna is a lovely little cove. A great coastal path which ever way you choose to walk. Parking isn't free and is very limited. There's also a little cafe there.
If you want an out-of-the-way place, this is for you!!! We visited in mid June and it appeared to be "shut". The harbour wall has half fallen into the sea and some of the houses on the hill appear totally dangerous - See image. Would you live there? As for the car park, well, excavated into the side of a... 更多
A small quaint cove with gorgeous views! Small sand area and large rocky area to sit and relax on. The water is lovely although very cold. Limited parking at not a bad price. Cafe and shop available on terrace above with lots of lovely seating areas that make the most of the fantastic views. The beach had previously not been... 更多
Great little unspoiled cove down in Cornwall. The cove is a small harbour which is ideal for off the pier fishing. It also has excellent cliff walks which have excellent views over the sea. There is one restaurant there which is open during the day and also a small shop which opens daily as well during the summer season. This... 更多
Don't come hereif you like bustling tourist attractions, come here if you like peace and tranquility. The car park is overpriced and so is the café, but if you want to just sit on the cliffs or the beach and admire the stunning view then this is the perfect place.
For a quiet destination for Cornwall this place is adilac a small beach and a lovely walk to the cliffs. Plenty of space for the car but expensive. Local cafe for a sad with or just a cup of tea or coffee. Roads very narrow drive with caution.
There is a pottery on the road to Lamorna Cove and this is where Lamorna Pottery is found. There is a wide range of pottery at various prices and the staff are very helpful. This was my 2nd. visit and there were also some items by other potters. There is a small café and the food, which is homemade is delicious.
The sea here on a sunny day is stunning! We visited on 31st May 2016, baking hot so we had a dip but the water was freezing! Wet suits recommended! There isn't a beach as such here, just rocks and a concrete area that is suitable for sitting on. There is a pay and display car park (not huge), a... 更多
Harbour wall has fallen into the sea, generally run down, big disappointment ! Made a special trip to visit the place my wife's great Uncle, Sam, Lamorna Birch, did a lot of his paintings !
