It's a beautiful place and I could happily sit for hours watching the sea. However, I object to being made to pay a private owner for the privilege of sitting on rocks watching waves. It should be noted that the car parking charges are not enforceable
I think people are confusing Lamorna Cove with this part of the country and the general surrounding area of the cove. The cove is dull and truly uninspiring. The neighbouring areas on the other hand offer everything you need with gorgeous vistas, the beautiful country side and of course the picturesque villages and their restaurants. Your time is much better... 更多
Lamorna Cove is privately owned and has a very nice cafe and ice cream parlour. A lovely stream comes down from the valley above and is a good place to see Sea Trout. Quarter of a mile up the road is a good pub with excellent food, The Lamorna Wink. You can walk past the cafe and take a stroll... 更多
One of Cornwall's most inspiring area's to explore and enjoy, a once proud working harbour, which sadly has had parts of the protective wall destroyed by the elements, and doesn't look like it will be restored to it's former glory in the foreseeable future, yet still a marvellous spot to visit on the Cornish coast, but be warned of the... 更多
The road down to the cove is one which is long, narrow and winding, but the view at the bottom is awesome. We had a quick snack at the café before travelling on.
Just amazing Walked from Mousehole to Lamorna on the coast path and back through farmland Beautiful but take a flask the cafe is awful
Having stayed just at the top of the hill, and only a steady walk to the cove (harder coming up)this little cove has beautiful views, and evokes dreams of smugglers and small fishing boats coming ashore. the harbour walls itself are severely damaged by the storms in the past, and are only maintained by the cafe owner, this being the... 更多
On the tricky boulders on the way into Lamorna, we had to maneuver around day-trippers in flip flops and wayward, unleashed dogs as we picked our way through the narrow, jagged rocks. We wandered for some time looking for the public toilets before a waiter told us they were closed and showed us the one public bathroom in an alleyway.... 更多
I can highly recommend the costal walk from Mousehole to Lamorna, however Lamorna is disappointing. There is very little there apart from a pub. We stopped for a crab sarnie and a cuppa which were fantastic. Was nice to sit and eat overlooking the sea before setting off again .
