If you like archaeological sites then La Quemada is well worth the hour drive from Zacetecas, and if you like hiking, then you have a double bonus, as from the top the views are spectacular. The place exceeded my expectations. I took a tour from the hotel and went there. The piramids are beautiful! The view of the Valley from the heights is breathtaking. It's a place of history & mistery. Worths 200% the visit.

Took the bus to Vilanueva where two taxi drivers said, "The pyramid isn't that great". They were wrong! Spoke with a nice, local couple on the street and they said the pyramid is fantastic! Found a cab driver who took us to La Quemada and he waited nearly two hours while we climbed the pyramid. The gates close at 5pm... 更多
This Ruins are only 10% open and already look awesome I can't wait for them to keep exploring more I'm totally coming back on my next visit to Mexico. All you Need to have on mind it's the climbing part ( take water with you) other than that juts have fun and explore.
