Don't miss the Thursday night art walk in the town main square. Some very talented artists...don't miss the finger painter! He's awesome and we are the proud owner of one of his paintings. It's a nice vibe and a great way to work up an appetite before dinner.
we spent a day walking San Jose, many wonderful small art shops, we bought some glassware, everyone was attentive but not suffocating, many restaurants to choose from, clean town
go to eat mexican off the beating path rather than the tour traps. the art area is over rated. watch out for shop merchants trying to over charge you for soveinors. you can get same things at the airport, so dont think you have to buy it in san jose
The main square, town center often has activities to enjoy. On Thursday there is an art walk from the local galleries and often there is music and food to enjoy. Be sure to check out the tamale stand behind the arch...a MUST!
The main square and surrounding streets are safe, clean and the locals are friendly and just a 20 minute ride from Cabo San Lucas. Walk around and visit the many artist's shops. The main square of San Jose del Cabo is beautiful and clean. It's lovely to spend time walking around, window shopping and stopping to have a drink and/or bite to eat. We felt very safe, day or night while here.
The downtown area and main plaza in San Jose del Cabo is made up of old, historic buildings with typical Mexican design, however, these antiquated edifices are home to unique artisans, galleries, and cafes. It is a pleasure walking around and watching a city mix old and new successfully - I wish I would have spent more time here taking... 更多
Enjoyed the cultural experience of exploring the town of San Jose del Cabo. Because we were there on Sunday, many of the stores and galleries were closed.
We enjoy the historical points of this area in town ane thursday night art walk can be quite enjoyable. The restaurants are a plenty. The store however just a mass of tacky souvenir stores with all the same product. A been there done that experience. We did find the area very clean.
