My recent visit to Palmilla Beach was to see what had changed since my last visit several years ago. Playa Palmilla is now listed in the Blue Flag program. Access to the beach is inside the Palmilla development and is still available to the general public. This is a great beach for enjoying a quiet walk, swimming, standup paddle, or... 更多
Playa Palmilla is my favorite beach in San Jose del Cabo. Flanked mainly with stunning villas, there is not a bustling resort crowd here. Palmilla is a perfect place for a leisurely walk, and is picture-perfect to boot. Although it is swimmable, I would still consider your skill as the waves and tides can be quite strong. With not much... 更多
Many beaches in the Cabo area are beautiful to look at, wonderful to walk, but treacherous for swimming or snorkeling. Some of the best swimming/snorkeling beaches are hidden away, and will soon have resorts hovering over them with all of the construction going on in Cabo. But Playa Palmilla, because of the residences overlooking the entire area, will never have... 更多
Per a recommendation, we took a cab from our condo near Plaza del Pescador in San Jose del Cabo and ventured out to Palmilla Beach -- so glad that we did because we had a fabulous time! The beach is beautiful and wasn’t super crowded. There isn't a bathroom, but there were port-o-potty's down the way. And there's plenty of... 更多
the beach was warm, magical clean, be careful of the under toe, its strong at times! sand and sun what fun there my life was changed here on the beach
Snorkeling is very good but the surge is string. There a lot of different fish to see here. You have to be careful not to get slammed against with the rocks and corals by the waves. Bring big fins. There are public showers available and there's a nice beach to the side of snorkeling site.
Although it's a bit out of town, this is a ten minute cab ride, take the bus walk 15 minutes down to the beach (a really nice walk through manicured shrubs etc). The beach is beautiful, safe for kids, with some nice rock formations to explore. I didn't use any of the bars, but drinks are available.
We took a cab to Playa Palmilla one day and spent the afternoon snorkeling and paddle boarding. We were able to rent the equipment right on the beach. Local families and tourists were together enjoying the beach.
The large swimming area is roped off with bouys so you can safely stay within the designated area. I like swimming in the bouyant salty sea water.Usually I take a noodle with me because the water gets deep fast and I am not a great swimmer. It is pleasantly cool water in this are and I swim for 30 minutes... 更多
