While not a a world class museum, this museum should be a must see for anyone on their first trip to Veracruz. The ground floor has several galleries that chronicle the nearly 500 year history of Veracruz. This is a small museum with a few English signs. But the most amazing thing about it is the building itself and you don't need a translation. The museum is in a very nice hostorical building. There a artefact from the pre-columbian area and tne more recent history of Veracruz
What a great place to visit for free. The exhibits are nice and the building is historic (was a hospital and then an orphanage and now a museum). The staff are very helpful with information about the building and things to do in Veracruz. And FREE is a great price!
