If you're looking for something to do besides buying jewelry this small museum is worth a visit. Old dusty building. Humboldt slept here one night - so what. Nothing about him here. Lovely view from balcony. Interesting temporary exhibition in lower level. 90+ year old tour guide was a sweetie- has given tours for 23 years.
A small, quaint museum with numerous pictures and artifacts of local importance. The docent who accompanied me only spoke Spanish (I only speak English), but what a lovely Señora proud of what was on display. I am happy to pay a $20 Pesos entry fee to keep places like this in operation.
