Beautiful, building, beautiful objects, very well displayed. In addition to the permanent collection, there were two excellent exhibitions: one on chairs and one on funcational pottery. The courtyard around the pottery show was particularly peaceful.

My husband and I enjoyed going through this museum, and felt it was worth the visit, although not spectacular. Afterwards, we purchased lunch in the courtyard, which was very nice (both the food and the location). I recommend this museum to others.

This stunning large colonial mansion with a beautiful courtyard houses a wonderful collection of furniture, ceramics, paintings, rugs, silver, etc etc, that span several centuries and related to Mexican history. It is charming and well worth a visit. Locations is very near the Museo de Bellas Artes.

Amidst the bustle of one of the world's most populous cities this is a quiet little haven set in the beautiful courtyard of the Franz Meyer museum. A cafe offers food, snacks, tea, coffee, juices and hot chocolate. It's a 5 peso fee to enter the courtyard but more if you want to look around the museum.

One of the hidden gems in Mexico City. Outstanding collection of decorative pieces in perfect condition. Wonderful place to sit and have a snack in the courtyard. Convenient to reforma and the tour bus stop. Great park across the street. Low entry fee for students and seniors.

A must for those who love fine furniture. Some of the pieces are really beautiful pieces. And there are also great works of art.

Please visit this museum and if possible get a tour guide. Great art and incredible art that shows the trade between the Philippines and Spain through Mexico.

Nice museum but even a pleasant place to go to just to sit in the courtyard and drink a coffee and have a snack if you are in the Centro Historico.

A wide ranging collection (painting, sculpture, furnishings) with many good pieces of religious art. There's a bit of the 'eclectic' (a few Chinese pieces, for ex.) but it's mostly Mexico, and the European art tradition that the Spaniards brought. The house itself is beautiful, and a lovely courtyard with a small restaurant so you can linger and enjoy. When I... 更多

This beautiful park was once the playground for the wealthiest families in the colonial era, and is now the perfect place where locals and visitors can spend a sunny weekend afternoon to relax or shop for souvenirs at the market. Kids can run around or grab a bite of cotton candy while teens and adults wander around admiring the charming gardens and the sculptures that adorn it. Once the heat rises, it may be time to visit one of the many cozy restaurants or cafés with its characteristic art nouveau facades to cool down and call it a day.
