Went hiking in the trails and soaking my feet in the hot river. It was a nice escape from the hustle bustle of the city. It's worth a half/full day trip for anyone who has the time. Weekends can get really crowded though, especially in the hot river. The water feels as hot as water from the hot springs so... 更多
We loved this day trip from Guad. The forest is beautiful and the hot spring river is amazing. Yes, it's rustic but that is what I like about it. I hope we can return. Our kids loved it and I did too!
I went there twice, once in September when it was raining and it was pretty cool, when i went in December it wasn't that great because it was already warm outside and then you don't need the hot river. We didn't find a place to swim, but it's pretty cool if you haven't been to something similar.
The Rio Caliente is a beautiful and relaxing place to visit. All natural, clean, flowing hot spring river! You can pick whatever temperature you want by moving closer or farther from the boiling hot tributaries that enter the river. But be careful of the "hot spots" around these tribs!

For as long as anyone can remember, el Bosque de la Primavera has been referred to as "Guadalajara's lungs" and in 1980, when big-time development plans threatened the woods, the entire forest — whether publicly... 更多
Im used to Monterrey mountains, so expectations on sights, flora and fauna were somehow high so I will focus on the nice MTB trails. Go there! Many competitions had being celebrated there mainly at "Pista el Madroño" but my favorite trail was "la canica". No regrets.
I spent the day together with a friend and we were rather disappointed. There is only one route you can follow to the rio caliente and the same way back. However, the thermal river was really nice! If you have time then visit it but in my opinion it's not a "must see".
My daughter and son-in-law were our gracious tour guides when we visited the Rio Caliente in el Bosque de La Primavera. The walk to the river was lovely, although it was a very hot day. It's hard to imagine how a river could be as warm as it was; but we revelled in feel of the mud beneath our toes... 更多
