We have been vacationing in Vallarta for many years. We always find time to go to the Plaza on special event nights or Sundays. If you are touring around the Malecon stop by. We were very fortunate to have a chance to have Mexican ice cream and see a group of dancers practice traditional Mexican dance at this plaza. Lovely!
Be sure to visit the central Plaza of Puerto Vallarta. There is a central pavillion where bands meet to play in the evening hours. Benches surround the plaza, and entire families go to meet, enjoy the music, eat ice cream and visit with friends and neighbors. It is a lively, colorful experience.
