This is a great beach. Depending on the day, the waves can be fairly tame or quite large. Nice sand and good swimming but be cautious when the waves are up. There are many restaurants along this beach but nothing too upscale. It is a great place to enjoy the sand, sun and cervezas.

We went to this beach on a Wednesday afternoon. The waves crash up on shore! It is fun to go in the water and let the waves push you toward the beach! I felt very safe as a tourist walking along this beach.
Oasis area was excellent. A few of the bars, not so good. Surf and waves and sand were exceptional. Definitely worth the time.

Caught the bus at our hotel (7 pesos) and went to Miramar Beach. Absolutely beautiful...we walked the beach, visited with local vendors, sat in comfy chairs under grass umbrellas sipping freshly sqeezed pinapple juice..sigh...the smell of the ocean and its breeze...so relaxing...then to the market that is also on the beach to buy some trinkets.
