The old Acapulco Tour was interesting and glad we went, but the number of army personnel and machine guns in the streets along with the obvious poverty made us a little nervous. Fortunately, we had engaged a private driver for the whole week and felt safe in his care.

If you enjoy the history of a place and have interest in the architecture of the area, this tour is for you. So much to see and beautiful scenery, you will really enjoy this tour.
We had a great tour of Old Acapulco. Sebastian Hernandez really knows all the details and gives historical background.
If you like hustle and bustle this is your spot. Imagining what once was is part of the charm. mid-century houses, some in a state of disrepair block the best views of the sea. Lots of locals from all social strata enjoying their city with the international and Mexican tourists. Always fun to see multigenerational families on an outing.

They even had armed guards at the gas stations. We didn't buy much as most of the items for sale are junk ( not all) be prepared... 更多

There is definitely more flavor to this area that many other areas in Acapulco which are a lot more modern. So many great little places to eat and it is really not expensive.
