I always love visiting here. Its the easiest way to get a taste of authentic Mexico without the hassle of traveling deep into the country's interior. It's certainly a cultural experience being separated from another world by only a thin fence. This is probably one of the safest parts of Tijuana. I never feel as though it's lacking safety. Nice way to visit Tijuana when arriving in the afternoon. Spend a day on the beach with plenty of nice little cafes along the shore and facing the pacific. Most of them do close early however, which is a good excuse to get back to the center of Tijuana for some dinner, beer and a couple of Tequilas !
