On of our stops during our private wine tour, our guide was able to avoid it during the cruise ship bus tours. So we arrived it was relatively quiet. They have local musicians playing in the middle of the large shaded open air patio/dining area. The place had a great shop for jams, spreads, sauces to try out. The cantina... 更多
We stopped here as part of an excursion on a cruise we were on. This is a very quaint and lovely place. We were able to sample 4 different wines in addition to olive oils and jams. Dona Lupe herself came to greet us and thank us for coming. They had some Native American dancing and music happening as well.... 更多
Dona Lupe has been in the valley long before the fancy wineries came along, so don't expect that. What they do have is awesome pizza in a lovely yard, great jams and marmalades, honey, olives, oils and breads. Great place to stock up on picnic goods. The wine we liked the best was the sweet red--not really into sweet wine... 更多
Like others, this was part of a day trip we took from our cruise. The people working there were very, very nice. The food was also very good. We had pizza, and while skeptical, it was actually very delicious. The wine, however, was a horse of a different colour. I have been drinking wine my entire life and have been... 更多
We went because this place was on a magazine as the best place to have breakfast IN THE WORLD!! And in that article they say that they have good lunch also..... the place is a ranch, with a terrace overlooking the vineyards and mountains, is on the backstreet of L A Cetto winery, BUT the service terrible, they change their... 更多
Peaceful spot at the mountains. Beautiful view, delicious fresh waters, huge variety of organic homemade products at the store, delicious bread, affordable prices. Mother earth is present in every corner. The long way driving is worthy. I'll get back there the next time I am in Ensenada.
We visited here as part of a Carnival Cruise excursion of the Ensenada wine country. We visited L.A. Cetto first for wine and it was very legit, followed by Dona Lupe. Lots of specialty foods here that are worth the visit, but certainly not the wine.
This was part of our ship excursion's wine tour. We had a wine-tasting and some pizza. We did not care for either. However, we enjoyed visiting with our friends on the patio in the shade. There were some crafts for sale and we bought some earrings and other fun stuff.
Nice place to spend an hour, have a drink, nothing fancy. Even my 9 year old got bored. Don't waste your time. There are lots of other places to go in Ensenada/Ruta del Vino
