A good place to understand the history and culture of the northern part of Baja California, including the native people, the land and the Spanish invaders. the place is larger than it looks and most exhibits are in both Spanish and English
This building is being well maintained and is used for social events. It is a reminder of past times but with its use for social events, it continues to maintain a presence in the lives of those who visit it and helps make new memories for all guests.
it was definitely worth the visit to this excellent museum of the history of Baja and Ensenada. They had a small gift shop at the end and the displays were done extremely well. After thge museum it was a short walk back to the ship.
Excellent, was booked through Carnival Cruise line. Guide Joanna was filled with knowledge and pride. This made the tour extra special. Be aware, she will make you sing a song in Spanish if you are late to the bus and have to make everyone wait. HAHAHA
Opened as an hotel & casino this building has great decoration that takes us back to the 30s. Visit the several rooms and bars, fountains and yards. It is great for a quick visit.

Don't miss the original casino room rotunda with it's fantastic ceiling or the stunning wall paintings in the reception room just off of that painted by an artist who influenced muralist Diego Rivera.... 更多
