It had rained the night before and the water was gushing down with its splendor. The hike itself was not tiring. Wished we had more time to go all the way to the end of the trail. Close encounter with snakes and lizards :)
We saw a man with angry dogs too, but I think dogs can be dangerous only if the man near you, they just try to protect him..anyway, we went to this trail and it took about 3 hours to get to the end and about 11 km..when we realised that it is quite late it was a bit scared to... 更多
Actually wanted to go along the track 9 from the direction of the bee farm, but missed the turning and did 9A. It starts at the power plant and goes all the way up to the waterfall. True, you have sometimes use your hands since it uses to be a bit steep at some places, but apart from that it... 更多
Near the steps leading to the top of the waterfall there was a man with 5 or 6 dogs. The dogs let us down the steps, but jumped at us, snarling and baring their teeth, when we set off along the trail. We walked to the waterfall and decided to return, despite the dogs, because the track was slippery. On... 更多
Highly recommend not going on this trail. If you must insist, I'd recommend only going to the Robinson waterfalls bit which is about 10 minutes in and then turning back. I'm an avid hiker and I think it says alot when I start feeling like I am one step away from falling down a ravine and being national news. The... 更多
When looking for trail 13 and 14 (which do not exist, in my opinion) we walked the 9 and a bit of 9a. Both are quite comfortable, but slippery. The Robinson waterfall is georgeous. We have not heard about any robbers and did not meet any, fortunatelly.
Careful onthis trek ! Robbers are waiting for tourists. Young ladies beware too as they seem to be quite free with their hands!..... Please refer to your guesthouse or hotel before you go. I am sure they have a better advice or take a professional guide. Sad though the trek is beautiful.
Trail No. 9 is about 2.35km long - did not have time to complete the whole walk but went pass Robinson's Falls and a little further down the trail. Nice jungle experience, and you will pass Trail No.8 as well on the way.
The trail is pretty slippery for the first little part as it paved and painted red and green - avoid the red they are slippery. After a while the trial is very rough going and we bailed at the first vegetable farm. Got to the Bee Farm and they called us a cab - we were 8 km from the... 更多
I recently visited the Caneron Highlands which is utterly stunning and definitely a must to see and explore. But before I arrived I met fellow travellers in Penang who warned me about the robberies happening on trail 9 and 9a. On arrival I enquired about the matter to be told at my hostel it is an ongoing situation and the... 更多
