Love the lush greenery there, and the fact that Mrs Tan knows her plants well. Bought home a bamboo young plant and a camellia, in which she had given her advice on what grows best in lowland climate (read : hot and humid unlike Cameron). its a very nice place to experience nature and to take many photos with your friends. they are food here also but im not sure if there is any toilet available or not.
Tan's Camellia Garden is tucked away from view and easily missed if it wasn't for the signboard along the main road. If you are coming from Ringlet, it is on your left before you reach the Convent school. It is just behind Oly Apartment in Tanah Rata. It is owned by the Tan's. As Cameron Highlands continues to succumb to over commercialization and greed, Tan's Camelia Garden is most definitely one of the last few survivors. Though it displays a sizable breed of plants, herbs & flowers, they do not charge an entrance fee of any sort.
