Three and a half couples and a fifteen month old child stopped off at Crom Estate jetty for an hour and a half in February. The interpretive centre was closed as it was out of season. The play area had swings and seesaw. We went for a walk along the lake edge to the Castle Ruins. The path is good... 更多
This must be one of the best national trust properties. We were camping rarely in the season and it was wonderful. No crowds , no noise apart from the wildlife, of which there is plenty. The toilets are clean as are the showers . There is a wonderful tea room which is a must to visit. However during the main... 更多
My family and friends visited the Crom Estate on New Year's Day 2017 for a walk. What a beautiful place with stunning views over the lakes.
Gorgeous area, great for an escape form reality. You can just go here for a walk or a picnic but you can also stay over in a lodge. The people are friendly and helpful. Be prepared though its in the middle of nowhere!
Crom estate is a beautiful place to visit for a walk and take in the stunning views around Lough Erne. It is run by The National Trust and is free to members. There are many interesting buildings around the estate like the boat house or the summer house and not forgetting the castle ruins. After our walk we were looking... 更多
A nice place to stop on a long drive from north to south - well worth the admission fee for the glorious cakes alone! We were slightly underwhelmed by the walks on offer, but all in all it is a nice place to visit. And always good to support the National Trust!
The Crom Estate is a beautiful area overseen by The National Trust. There is a walk along Lough Erne with the old castle ruins en-route to the new Castle. The Castle is private property of the Earl of Erne however you can walk along and visit the Boat House and the Summer House. It is very scenic with plenty of... 更多
My first time glamping with husband and two young children. The pinky glamping pod was as described and very clean. A step up from a tent, I am converted to roughing it a bit! Kids took the single beds and we forgot out airbed! We went to the visitor centre to find out where the nearest shop would be to... 更多
This was just what I needed - somewhere to get away from it all. I came here with my mum for an afternoon and really enjoyed the walk to the ruined Castle and the wildness of it all. Would love to go back and maybe take the glampig option next time!
Rented one of the glamping pods this weekend and it was dog friendly. Was really good not having to worry about pitching a tent, just bring all your camping gear and the room is already there for you!the pods are warm and have a kettle and a microwave which is really handy to have! They also have electric and spare... 更多
