Like a lot of people, we came across this great little brewery, whilst trying to find The Big Pit! We were made very welcome, and for a small fee we were able to look round their visitor centre, the brewery itself, and sample the beer in their own little bar.
excellent place and friendly staff i suggest go to bigpit then call at the brewery especially if you are on a coach so can have a few bevvies
On a very wet day we were looking for somewhere to go to after the Big Pit (also highly recommended) and we decided to pop into the brewery museum. It is small but well laid out and really interesting! The lady (I have unfortunately completely forgotten her name!) was very friendly and knowledgeable. Although our children are some way off... 更多

Working close to the brewery, it is easy to call in & pick up beer, far cheaper than through shops, win win for me and the brewery. There are gift packs, boxes and mini kegs to suit your occasion. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They do tours which finished in the upstairs bar where you can sample their wares.

I thought the brewing area was quite small but was surprised when our guide said each tank held 22,000 pints!... 更多
My wife and I visited on the 4th June and found the self guided tour very interesting and informative. The bar area where you can sample the beers brewed on site has lovely views across the railway towards Big Pit, and has an outside seating area if the weather is good. We really enjoyed sampling the beers and both agreed... 更多
