We three couples rented golf carts and toured the island. Thanks to my husband's TripAdvisor inquiry, we found this truly Bahamian bar, Miss Emily's, now run by her sweet daughter, Violet. We bought a gallon of Goombay Smash, kept rest in cooler. If you really want a local experience, don't miss Emily's. We were not staying on the island, so...
This is absolutely a must go to place and meet Miss Emily, the pleasant owner. Her father started the business and they make their famous, secret recipe Goombay Smash. It is the best ever. If you visit with a crowd, they can be purchased by the gallon. I could have drank many more .
They were so delicious, we are...
We have been buying gallons of Goombay Smash from Miss Emily's Blue Bee Bar for 5 years, always our first drink when we arrive! Lord knows why we had not had dinner there before this year, but from now on it will be a definite to do.
When we made our reservation for dinner, because there were 8 of us,...
The owner is so welcoming and the Goombay Smash is awesome! This is a cannot miss attraction while on Green Turtle Cay. We had already eaten dinner when we arrived, and suddenly wished we hadn't. The food menu looked and smelled great.
Just a short walk from the dock. Food is excellent. Many seafood or western choices. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We are a repeat visitor and the highlight has to be their signature drink the Goombay Smash. If you have a little time and someone to assist you home purchase the one gallon option !
Home of the Goombay Smash! Stop in for a drink! You will always be greeted with a friendly smile. You can sit on the picnic tables outside and watch the kids playing at the basketball court across the street.
