Its fun to witness the blow hole blow. The island is a few meters wide at Glass Window and the sheltered sea to the west is a beautiful blue/green colour and relatively calm, in contract to the ocean to the east with its darker colour and impressive swell. Worth a stop off and some pictures.
If you are passing by, it will be worth while to stop and snap some pictures but there is nothing spectacular or magical about this place to make a trip here. After leaving the North Eleuthera Airport we soon drove by the Glass Window and decided to stop. The views were great and different from the rest of the island. There were large waves crashing into large rock walls. We thought it was the most scenic part of Eleuthera. Well worth a stop.
An amazing experience where the Atlantic and Caribbean can be seen at the same time. The colors of the water are beautiful. The natural bridge has been replaced with a man made structure. A site to see when visiting Eleuthera.
