When I remember our trip to the Abacos, this is the place that stands apart in my mind. We boated one day and took the golf cart one day.
It was such a fun place to let the kids run around in the shallow water. We brought our snorkels and poked around for a bit. We walked out on the...
Lovely, mint-colored, shallow waters warmly lulled us into thinking that we had just arrived in Heaven ;-)) . The lush beach, lined with swaying palm trees, however, reminded us that this place was Heaven on Earth - absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! We had anchored near Tahiti Beach with our yacht and took the tender to the sandbank, anchoring near other dinghis....
Perfect spot to anchor and swim ashore. Water is crystal clear, very warm. So shallow we laid in the water and took and pleasant sea nap! There is no infrastructure on this beach (bars, restaurants, etc.) just beach and private homes, docks.
A beautiful beach to anchor up to along with a bunch of other boats during the day. On the southern end of elbow cay near an ocean opening. If you are looking for peacefulness and privacy I wouldn't recommend here until later in day. If you are looking to play and chill, this would be fun.
After a fun day snorkeling and eating at Lubber's you have to take a quick stop, or not so quick, at Tahiti Beach. The perfect sandbar for a few beers and pictures. The perfect place to spend the afternoon in crystal clear water!
This is the most beautiful sand beach in the Sea of Abaco. There are always lots of shells, sea glass and small sea life. The water is crystal clear, the sand clean and pure. We never miss a stop on Tahiti Beach when we visit. It's an easy walk from the island or most enjoyable by boat.
