Part of Lucayan National Park, there are about 3 caves including this one that you can climb into and explore via the decks constructed. Nice little adventure. Afterwards, go across the road to the beach--awesome experience.
It is worth learning about the islands history and make up. But as tourists who desire beach and crystal clear water this attraction lacks WOW factor. However, just walk about 5 minutes across the street over the bog to get to a pristine uninhabited beach that has tons of WOW factor.
Cool stairway and walking path takes you down near the beautiful watery cave--where the roof of the cave has such beautiful colors in it. When the light shines just right, if you have a nice camera, it will pick up the colors and light beaufilly.
We went here as part of an excursion from our ship. Do not waste your money. We visited two "caves", more like deep holes in the ground and two beaches. For less than half the money, we could have hired a cab or private guide and gotten a much better value.
