We just got to gave a glimpse of this beach. We took the nexus tour east end caves. There was a atop at the Gold Rock Beach for 50 minutes, not sure why so short. There is only 1 restaurant or whatever we can call it. It took them 30 minutes to serve a family of 3. The veggie burger... 更多
We went here around noon when the tide was still high but it was amazing to see how the tide changes the entire beach. The water is extremely shallow and it was amazing to be able to lay down in the middle of the ocean about 150 ft from shore. The water is warm and very clear. It felt very... 更多
This is a really nice beach but it IS fairly secluded. Location of a lot of filming for Pirates of the Caribbean. You need a rental car or a group to share the expense of a taxi. Draw back are black flies.
Gorgeous beach! And the walk to get there is also beautiful and cool to see the mangroves and fish below the walk way. Go at low tide its great for the little ones they loved looking in the small tide pools and shell collecting, so did us adults. We did try to snorkel at lowtide, but the bottom is sand... 更多

The Beach is very quiet and somewhat out of the way as most people wont bother to travel there (it's about 15 miles outside of Freeport). Sand is the classic white fine powder you see in the movies, waters are clear and clean.
This beach goes on forever, is easily entered, and lovely to spend a few hours. Know that you park up on the road and pay a $5.00 fee per person to access it via a beautiful Boardwalk through a swampy area. Bring your own drinks and lots of sunscreen. The breeze is so nice it would be easy to underestimate... 更多
Abort 40 mins West of Freeport is a hidden treasure....water as clear as your bathtub and just as warm...tons of fish...watch out for the Baracudas....well worth the trip!
We toured the caves across the street, walked through the Lucayan Nature preserve through the mangrove, across Gold Rock Creek, and onto the beach. I swear there were angels singing when we emerged onto this beach. It's the most beautiful beach I've ever visited, hands down. Be sure to check what time is low tide, because you will only want... 更多
