Nice day trip. Caves are s bit underwhelming. Watch out for all the spiders! When I sulking boardwalk to beach, stop in gazebo which goes through the mangroves. Raccoons will come out! We fed them our trail mix and they took it gentler than most dogs! Highlight of the excursion.
We took the Nexus East End Cave Tour that includes Lucayan National Park, beach at National Park and the Gold Rock Beach. We went to Grand Bahamas in August. Most water activities get canceled because of choppy waters and windy. The weather is pretty good, bright and sunny. The Lucayan park has 2 caves, including one of the largest underwater... 更多
Lucayan National park is on the eastern side of the island. We rented a car and from Viva Wyndham Fortuna it was less than a 30 minute drive. Admission to the beach and caves is $5 per person. Although I didn't go inside, there were restrooms located above the ranger's office. The caves were nothing exciting. It was a cloudy/stormy... 更多
Absolutely Amazing! One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to. Bring a lunch there is nothing around which is probably why it is so nice. If you are staying in a tourist area you are going to pay a hefty taxi ride to get here, but it is well worth it if you do a day trip. You... 更多
This is not probably reviewed enough but has the most beautiful beach. There are 2 blue holes that you can climb stairs into. Its $5 to get in and worth the money. It takes about 10 mins to walk the circle on the side you park on and about 15 mins to walk to the beach on the other side.... 更多
a One of a Kind place where you have two paths through Mangrove fields to get to beach is huge secluded and quiet which is very rare. a bit outta the way from the hotels but worth the trip
I wouldn't suggest you do this as part of an organised tour, we were staying on the Island in a private villa so went for a look. There is not much you can get for just $5 per person and they are trying to do a job of conservation - something that appears strangely lacking elsewhere on the Island. There... 更多
The price was $54 per adult, and this excursion was just OK, not worth $108! The second beach/restaurant stop, not worth it at all. Disappointed. The Cave part is cool, but I wouldn't have felt like I missed anything. The beach at the National Park, was probably my favorite part... The picture here is ver misleading, never saw that.
Short commute to have the luxury to explore the caves, take in wildlife, and enjoy the beach. Walking through the mangroves to the beach was one of the best parts.
Lucayan National Park has the caves on one side and Gold Rock Beach across the street. This is definitely a must see in Freeport, Bahamas. Make sure you visit during low tide when the beach is most beautiful, with miles and miles of white sand!!
