We did this excursion as a part of a Carnival cruise. The sting rays have had their barbs clipped for safety. We were able to touch, feed, and hold the Rays. There were many in the bay and the feeding experience was unique and fun. The dolphin bay is directly next to you so you are able to watch part... 更多
We really enjoyed this excursion. The boat ride takes about 30 minutes or so and was pleasant enough. We had an excellent guide on the way back that pointed out land marks and such. I've always been hesitant about fish swimming against my legs and this didn't bother me at all. Enjoyed holding and feeding them. Got some fun pictures... 更多
We were hesitate to do this excursion, but it turned out great!!! The stingrays are debarbed so it's safe. The meeting lasts for approx. an hour and there are about 7 stingrays in the enclosure. I must say that it was fun to watch people actually get into the water and get very up close and personal with these sea creatures however they still had their stingers so I wasn't about to get too close but my family and friends really enjoyed the experience.
I loved the stingray tour. The stingrays are tame and yet still have their stingers. They are released from the pen often and choose to come back. They bump all over you. They are graceful and beautiful. The guides that do this tour are amazing.
The pick up at the dock to get over to the Stingray Adventure was not clear on where we were suppose to be, however, the staff was very friendly and we had an awesome experience while we were there.
Yes, you could feed the stingrays from you hand. Just long enough lecture to get you into the mood, but not long enough to bore you.
