They were celebrating their 350th anniversary while my husband and I were visiting. We visited on a Saturday (best to visit on the weekend), so no services being held, but the church was open to visitors and we signed their guestbook. We loved walking through the oldest church building on St. Thomas and 350 years of history!! My husband is... 更多
We spent a few minutes walking around the church one afternoon to get out of the summer heat. It is a beautiful church from the outside. Also it is clear it used to be a magnificent place inside years ago. The interior now needs some TLC (and a good cleaning). However, if you want to see a building with interesting... 更多
We celebrated 23 years of marriage yesterday, and it all began here! We had a destination wedding from Texas. This was the second stop on our cruise, and we arranged to be married here and had the reception on the ship with our 50 guests. It was the hottest day ever, and of course this old historic church has no air... 更多

It was such a memorable experience to share what so many before us had felt in the sanctuary. There was no docent available in the... 更多
I love to visit old Lutheran churches. The woodwork for the time period is very nice, yet exemplifies the humility of their faith. It is amazing how well kept the church building is considering the current building is almost 200 years old and still in daily use.
I was born of Evangelical Lutheran parents from Germany. I was baptized in an Evangelical Church. I was confirmed and sang in an Evangelical Church choir. But I did not believe. Only by the grace of God was I saved and led to a non denominational Bible believing church and led to a saving faith In Jesus Christ in 1997.... 更多

It's nice and if you're a religious person then you'll find it interesting and I'm sure enjoy going to see it, but I've been to St. Paul's, St. Peter's and the Duomo in Florence, so this didn't do anything for me not even as a photo stop. I didn't bother to take any because it looks so average. If it... 更多
