Fort Christian is a great piece of History. Although I'm not sure what the plan is with it. It needs to be completely restored and open for tours. While we were visiting it was closed and nobody seemed to know what the long range plan was for it.
Great place to hang out when visiting the island. Always meet nice and fun loving people there. Not so much fun if it's raining, make sure you were high SPF.
This was just another of the historic public facilities that is "under restoration", has been for some time, and no one seems to have a definite re-opening date.

Many old forts and castles get re-purposed for other use which has them kept in good repair, but so far not the case here. Let's see what... 更多
Amazing this historical building has not yet collapsed - it should have 0 maybe THAT'S what it takes to get the USVI Government to restore its history. Maybe they don't want to?!
