"Secret Harbour" is the right name! The crystal clear waters are clear and calm. Snorkeling is easy with lots to see. You might even see a turtle!
We were on a cruise, looking for a nice secluded beach with snorkeling from the beach area. Some friends that live on St Thomas recommended Secret Harbour. They were :right on". The dive shop (Lisa) was very pleasant, rented out everything needed to sit on a beach, snorkel or dive at very reasonable rates. The restaurant and bar area was... 更多
We drove over to Secret Harbour to snorkel and enjoy a few drinks at the bar. The snorkeling was great. There were a fair amount of folks hanging out on the gorgeous beach that day. There's a dive shop and limited public parking. The bar and restaurant were a bonus!
This beach is hidden away and perfect to go to when there are a lot of cruise ships in port. But, the waters edge is very rocky and hard to get in to. We would up leaving and going back to the hotel pool.
We went here this week to snorkel as we heard it was good. There seemed to be only 2 parking spots but luckily when we went there was only 1 other car there. Walked down to the beach and were disgusted by all of the sea grass and debris on the sand and junk floating in the water. Couldn't imagine... 更多
You have to go thru a resort restaurant to access the beach. Very pretty beach. Lots of rock formations off to one side that make a great place to snorkel, especially if you are a beginner. You don't have to go out very far from beach to see coral and fish.
After reading other reviews I was very excited to go to secret harbour. Upon arriving I realized this is not just a beach, it is also a resort. Beach access is free bit you are not welcome to sit on any of their chairs etc unless you are a resort guest or want to pay ($10 a chair) they won't... 更多
Great spot to snorkel. Lots of coral and numerous fish. The only down side is parking if you have a rental. If you go by taxi no worries. It is a beach shared with hotel guests so bring your own chair and cooler. There is a restaurant and restrooms on site.
Wife and I stayed in accessable room above dive shop because we wanted easy wheelchair access to dive shop, beach, dining and parking. It was perfect. Parking at the doorstep. Ramp to dive shop, beach and bar/restaurant. And this beach, water, snokeling and view is one of the best on the island. Highly recommend.
