Lovely and restful place to visit. If you don't have a vehicle, these gardens are on the bus line. Loved the variety of vegetation mingled with ruins. Nice little gift shop.
Beautiful botanical gardens amidst the ruins of an old sugar cane plantation. Both aspects of the visit were interesting and a great combination. It was a relaxing and enjoyable visit.

The self guided tour is worthless, unfortunately they did not emphasize on the historical buildings on the property. The plants are not marked well and there is no map or a pamphlet that describes what to look for.
