Our second time snorkeling here, and, although we didn't see as many fish as last time, we did see a turtle, Eagle Rays, and squid. It pays to take your time and be sure to raise your head up to look at the surface where you may see some turtles coming up for air. Also, squid blend in with the... 更多
I liked this site a bit more than Coral Gardens because you could actually swim THROUGH the reefs and not just AROUND them. There are a few access points to the Bight. We used an unmarked point that is sort of a sand side of the road pull off point right next to a 20mph sign. I did not see... 更多
The reef is buoyed off to protect the coral. Swim around the edges of the roped off area to see some beautiful fish and sea turtles!! I heard that morning was a better time to go (which we did) to see the maximum amount of wildlife. The Reef is on the Coral Gardens Hotel property. They offer parking and a... 更多
While snorkeling around the circle of buoys we saw turtles, puffer fish, and a sting ray w a 6' wingspan All the good snorkeling was found at the top of the circle of buoys from the 10 o'clock to 3 o'clock position. Good coral and lots of healthy sea life
We walked over an hour to reach the reef and it was well worth it. With the location right off shore, it's very convenient to reach. I was amazed at how large the fish were and the variety. We even saw 2 sea turtles. The fish were gorgeous. Worth a visit.
It's right in front of a resort, and roped off around the coral so as to not disrupt the marine life. It's fun, with pretty fish and a few turtles and lemon sharks. Not for seasoned snorkelers. If you want adventure, and amazing experience, go to Smiths Reef!
the snorkel reef is wonderful to explore. You see so many types of fish and it's so close to shore you can just walk in and go as shallow or as deep as you feel comfortable doing.
A great little reef, right by the beach. Perfect for children, and those who are nervous about snorkelling in deep water. It looks a bit scruffy by the beach, but don't be fooled - it is full of parrot and angel fish, not to mention shoals of yellow snapper which follow you around like puppies. There is some lovely colourful... 更多
We visited multiple times and found many different tropical fish. The area is marked but there are no services associated unless you choose to dine at a beachfront restaurant. I would recommend "Somewhere"!
