Going to Pirate's bay is real adventure for those who are not worried about a 10 minute walk to the beach and a very steep incline from the access road, and high steps to get back. A boat ride can also be arranged, but beware of the high price that is offered for a relatively short distance. Pirate's Bay has... 更多
We spent the afternoon at this small, secluded beach. It was very clean and quiet. At high tide the waves were perfect for body surfing. Save some energy for the long climb up the stairs at the end of your visit.
Bit of an adventure to get there if you are staying in S 1/2 of island, otherwise a 15min stroll up a grassy track from the main bay. Leave your car at the start as there is nowhere easy to turn round, 165+ steps down to the beach. Nice sand and panoramic view across Man O War Bay, no facilities... 更多
Getting to the beach is an adventure in itself! I wouldn't recommend taking our car all the way up the little dirt road, as it gets really narrow. Park your car and walk! This is such a remote place and it is stunningly beautiful. There are chairs for rent and drinks for sale once you get there, which was surprising... 更多
I found out about this beach right here on trip advisor, thanks to other person's reviews. This trip turned out to be a mini adventure! It's a hidden gem! It's a bumpy dirt road to get to the beach which we didn't expect, and quite a bit of steps downhill, but this all added to the fun. I will advise... 更多
Nice place to bathe. For the strong willed the 200 steps is a nice form of exercise, for the older folks a short boat ride will get you there but once there the experience is great. Couples and families will enjoy this beach.
We visited this beach whilst we were in Charlotteville. We stopped at Man O War Bay and was told about Tim Tim and his lil speed boat who took us to Priates Bay. Absolutely stunning, quiet and super clean! Tim Tim also took us to Lovers Bay (which has red and white sand) again another stunning hidden gem in Tobago.
A small hike or a cheap boat from Charlotte would get you there. Very calm and clear waters , white to golden sands , the stuff of tropical dreams
