The coastal birds were amazing. They hover about your eye level. The boat ride to the island is rocky. We went with Hans for an early morning bird/nature hike in the nature reserve, then zipped down to head out on a glass bottom boat to Little Tobago for more bird watching, nature hike, and scenery. We spent a couple of hours on Little Tobago as part of a day's bird-spotting with Newton George. An excellent spot to watch Magnificent Frigatebirds, Red-billed Tropicbirds and Laughing Gulls swooping and fighting over fish. The glass-bottomed boat trip across to the island allowed us to see coral, reef fish and a couple of turtles. Very enjoyable.
