We called in here on the way back from Charlotteville. It was an easy walk from the entrance. I was carrying my 2 year old in a backpack (though this was more for speed - the path to the waterfall would have been largely walkable for him) and both my 7 year old and I were wearing sandals. We stayed... 更多
Admission price is high ($TT60pp) and it is along and dangerous walk at the end. But the water is refreshing. The bottom pool is very deep so bring a flotation device if you want to relax in the water. The bottom falls are hard to stay by because of the current of the water. Can get crowded with bus groups... 更多
After the longgggg walk in, the view of the waterfalls is definitely worth the walk. There are about 40 waterfalls one after the other and therefore a bit of hiking is needed to see the others. I recommend going with a tour guide as the route encompasses alot of stuff worth knowing about history on the island. 10 thumbs up!
This was a nice little stroll among some beautiful bamboo forests. We hired a guide, but next time would not - you can't get lost, and he didn't provide much info. Once to the lower falls, boys had a great time jumping in from the rocks. Nice way to spend an hour or two.
We went to the water falls after touring the Cocoa Plantation close by. Had a picnic lunch at the site and then did the trip to the falls. The trail back to the falls is a small hike, but not too bad. The falls themselves are not especially large, but are pretty. The swimming is good, especially in the lower... 更多
I am not sure quite what we expected but as part of our island tour, it was there to do. We were taken by a very nice guide along the trail, about a ten minute walk to the pool at the bottom of the falls, through a glade of wonderful trees and bamboo arches, a few exotic birds and butterflies.... 更多
Even the short walk to get to the falls was pretty with many different birds flying around. The falls themselves were beautiful and swimming at the bottom was so refreshing on a hot day. It was even good for small children or people that don't swim well as there was a shallow part near the pool. If you are going... 更多
We had a good few hours at the waterfall and it is well worth the visit while you are in Tobago. The walk to the falls isn't to bad but you will need walking shoes / trainers. The guide we had was very knowledgeable about the trees and plants you pass. The walk to the top isn't that easy unless... 更多
Our visit to Argyle Falls was not a pleasant one. In part by one member of our group and the ill-mannered staff at the falls. TT$50 per person for a 10 minute walk!?!? that is more than absurd. one of our group members was taken aback by the cost of the tour and this caused the staff to be rude... 更多
