It is easy to forget that you are in the city of Port of Spain when you visit the Botanical Gardens. Soft grass, tall shady trees, and a great expanse of walkways makes time stand still. A nature lovers paradise, or simply a place to reconnect with your inner being, and to restore and revitalize your spirit!
Very lovely place to go, full of history and near the zoo that have lots of beautiful and exotic animals. Peoples are very respectful and willing to help you anytime, I did enjoyed a lot!
Just off the Queens Park Savannah, this is an interesting garden. Lots of trees, green lawns. They also had an orchid house, but it was closed though you could see some of the plants from outside the fence. These gardens are beautiful, scenic and serene. Just to walk through the trees and plants from so many places in the world, you feel the peace and quiet. This beautiful place is very serene and lies between the Zoo and the President's house. You can also access Lady Chancellor's Hill from here. It is a good place for a stroll or a picnic.
