Mayaro as a town has all you need - market, supermarkets, and Doubles! However, the bay is well worth a visit. In a car go to the centre of Mayaro, and turn right by the market. Travel as far as you wish, any of the roads on your left will take you down to the sea. Some are private roads... 更多
Beach at Eccles Road was clean and wide enough to enjoy playing in the sand with kids. While sea was refreshing there was a strong current which may be difficult for weak swimmers.
From here you can see one of the most beautiful sunset along the horizon. Recently there was the sargasso weed but most have been cleared. Even if you are not bathing just sitting on the shore is relaxing.
