This was somewhere we wanted to go to and decided to take a tour of the island and our driver stopped here. First this and the museum of Nevis are very very small. It's interesting and informative and they are proud of their museum but you will find it difficult despite the interesting subject to spend more than 30 mins.... 更多
A small but very interesting museum in the house where Ahmilton was born. Worth a visit. Then have lunch at the neighboring Café d' Arts.
Stopped by the Alexander Hamilton House on a short van tour of Charlestown. Frankly, there's not much to see either at the house or in Charlestown itself. Given a choice, a walk around town and some of the historical sites would be much better than driving. There's some history here and the collection of old buildings is interesting if you're... 更多
Most interesting but very poorly laid out and all looking very dated. With a little effort this small room could be transformed, some of the print was so small you could not read it.

for $10 a person you see the house but the history inside is worth about $.25 cents. So if you want to just see the house then I guess it could be five stars but you will see what I'm talking about when you see what they have inside.
Most people don't know that one of America's founding fathers was born on Nevis. Hamilton House is a very small exhibit, so know that going in or you'll be disappointed. However, they pack a lot of fascinating information into that tiny space.
This museum in Hamilton's birthplace deals with the history of Nevis - the Nelson museum also deals with the same topic from a more political point of view. It is worth a visit and you can stop into the Hamilton Museum that is paired with the Hamilton House Museum. Just don't expect the New York Historical Society!
Interesting history and timeline of Hamilton's birthplace. Be sure to catch the show on Broadway! Amazing!
