Got married on this beach 21 years ago(1995) and just recently returned December 2016. My wife and I (yes the same wife) of 21 years was on a 8day Christmas Cruise and The Caymans was one of our Ports of Call. We decided to return to the spot we got married in. The beach is very quiet and secluded. Great... 更多
Even with 3 cruise ships in dock, we found o much open sand, we were shocked. When you hit the beach and turn right, you are in front of a long condo and the sand is wide open. That is because the condo has sectioned off a section of sand away form the water for their guests, leaving so much... 更多
We dropped our teenage kids off here and went to Cost U less to get the groceries for the week. We joined them for a little while soaking up the sun, and sand. It gorgeous.
Easy access just past Governors square with plenty of free parking. The sand is clean and the water is crystal clear-during our 5 weeks over Xmas and New Year 2016/17 never very busy.
After a while all the beaches seem pretty much the same all very pretty lots of snorkeling and clean beaches all have their own unique look or view so renting a car and seeing several of them in a day is worth the trips. We only spent 1 day on the beach all day but went to several of them... 更多
Great beach next door to the governors house and the Westin. In my opinion the best part of seven mile beach. There are no bathrooms or shade provided. Bring your own chairs and definitely an umbrella . Beautiful clear water. Bring a life jacket if you are not a strong swimmer. The best snorkeling is out from shore a ways.
We visited here on a whim because we got kicked out of nearby hotels (ha ha). This is public beach access in front of the Governor's mansion. There are no bathroom facilities but if you buy a drink next door at the Westin, you can use theirs. We loved this beach because there is a reef about 200 yards out... 更多
Parking is close. Water is calm. Look back and you will see the 3 million dollar homes. Left side of swimming area. 50 feet offshore is a reef with lots of sealife. Great colors and vibrancy.
