Maybe I went on a bad day, but the black sand hadbeen eroded or covered with regular sand on much of the beach. It was easy to see the black sand in places but it was blotchy and not as some of the pictures I have seen. A very nice walk through the woods to get to it was very... 更多
Visit this beach on a horseback tour. The black sand portion is very small. Not like Hawaii. Beautiful but not worth the 20 minute hike in from the street.
One of our favorite beaches to get to by taking a 15 minute walk through a wooded area with lots of cool stuff to look at. The black sand was really cool but there was not much to do at this beach. Definitely visit the art gallery nearby!

It was a little hard to find as the signs were hand written on a small piece of card board. Expect to walk about 10-12 minutes before reaching this location. It was absolutely beautiful though.
The back sand is absolutely beautiful and because this beach is out of the way to get to, my group was 1 of 2 on the entire beach. We walked there, but I definitely suggest taking a publicos (the taxi/van service). Overall a beautiful place.
Easy walk from Esperanza (approximately four kilometers) however would sure like a proper sign put up to signify the entrance to the path to the beach.

It was a little tough to find at first so we stopped at Gallery Galleon to ask for directions, she pointed us in the right direction and let us park our Jeep at her gallery. It's about a 10 minute walk on an easy sandy path. Toward the end of the path are lots... 更多
We did drive by the entrance the first pass. There is a small bridge over the dry creek bed and some spray paint indicating the entrance. The people at the small museum next door told us it was safe to park on the side of the road while we walked down the creek path. The black sand is finer and... 更多
